Ms. Custer is a sole practitioner whose practice is limited to family law (divorce, custody, paternity, parenting time enforcement, child support, modifications, etc.), juvenile dependency and delinquency, guardianships, and criminal defense. She began her career as a public defender in Pendleton, Oregon, in 2000. After two years, she opened her own practice in Pendleton in the Banner Bank building (125 SE Court Street Suite 4). Ms. Custer believes in helping the client to make informed decisions about what to do concerning a case or issue by providing as much information as possible, advising the client what options are available, and discussing the potential consequences of each option. In both criminal and family law cases, she educates the client about how the process goes forward, what the client should expect along the way, and any collateral information that may be relevant, such as potential immigration consequences, future developments or legal issues, referrals to local children's or adult counselors in family law cases, and the like.
